Dr. Rishi Kr. Gupta is an inspiring example of determination, medical excellence and selfless service. Coming from Jhansi, he pursued his dream of becoming a doctor and completed his MBBS (2000–2005) and MD in Radiotherapy (2009–2012) from S.N. Medical College, Agra, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University.

With a special interest in Radiation Oncology, Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Radiotherapy, along with advanced techniques such as SRS, SBRT, IMRT and IGRT, he has continuously worked towards excellence in cancer treatment. He is also associated with professional organisations including the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, Leksell Gamma Knife Society, International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society and European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology.

His professional journey includes serving as a Senior Resident at Galaxy Cancer Institute, working as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at VIMHANS Hospital, New Delhi, and serving as Medical Director and Head of Department, Radiation Oncology, at Shri Jagannath Charitable Cancer Institute & Research Centre from June 2015 to October 2025 and still giving his medical services to the hospital and associated patients.

For more than 15 years, Dr. Gupta has devoted himself to cancer care, particularly to helping needy and underprivileged patients receive treatment with dignity and hope. When he joined Shri Jagannath Charitable Cancer Institute & Research Centre, the institution was at an early stage of its development. Under his leadership as Medical Director, his vision and relentless efforts contributed to strengthening the hospital and developing a more organised, comprehensive and patient-focused cancer-care centre.

His journey has now progressed to the position of Vice Chairman of the Cancer Charitable Society. Yet, despite the professional milestones he has achieved, his purpose remains unchanged—to serve patients and make quality cancer care accessible to those who need it most.

From a small city to a distinguished career in Radiation Oncology, Dr. Rishi Kr. Gupta's journey is a story of knowledge, perseverance and compassion—proving that when medicine is guided by humanity, one doctor's dedication can create a lasting impact on countless lives.
